Description:

All Energy Solar is seeking a Marketing Event Coordinator (part time non-exempt) to join our team. As our team and company continue to grow, individuals will have the opportunity to grow and advance as well. You will report to the Marketing Event team and will help plan, oversee and execute All Energy Solar's presence at regional in-person and virtual events. You will creatively help the marketing efforts for each event through social media posts, eye-catching promotional items and working with the rest of the marketing team to have engaging, educational materials at our booth. Events include in-person trade shows, fairs/festivals and conferences along with virtual webinars.

The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic, positive attitude towards handling the multi-step event process from start to finish; including finding community events for us to participate in, traveling onsite to set up brand activations, talking to prospective customers in the event and booking their appointments and creating a thorough recap with post-event data. This position requires high energy and strong organizational skills that will drive events to effectively communicate All Energy Solar's mission to see more people switch to solar energy.

This position is responsible for weekly events set up and logistics across Madison & Milwaukee WI and on-site company meetings at our office in Madison, WI as required.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for weekly events set up and logistics across Madison & Milwaukee WI area(s)Attendance and participation in on-site company meetings at our office in Madison, WI or other company locationsSupporting the Marketing team in finding local events to invest in and organizing and planning promotional itemsPlanning and managing all assigned Wisconsin (or other defined territory) marketing events by helping identify, coordinating and assembling required event items onsiteExcited and prepared to educate and share our products/benefit information with customersBooking staff and coordinating details for their onsite shift for each event if you're not thereAssist in maintaining an inventory and directory of event marketing materials, making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating refills of items as neededContinually seeking and researching new sources of prospective events while providing recommendations to the Marketing Event teamBuild relationships with local ambassadors and identify opportunities for them to participate in solar partiesSupport digital marketing efforts for virtual events such as quarterly webinars, create social media posts for weekend event line up and distribute digital materials to event partnersOther duties as assigned by management.Skills/Qualifications:

Proven experience coordinating events or brand activationsAbility to partner with the Marketing team on the big picture to strategically align events with overarching company goalsExposure to project management, coordinating multiple brand activations over short periods of time including but not limited to weekendsInnovative and resourceful; actively seeks opportunities to have an ownership mindset in the execution of improving the event planning process and attendee experienceExposure creating digital marketing materials, branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copies.Excellent organizational skillsAbility to work collaborate and work with teamsPositive, professional attitude, and take pride in work productExceptional client service skills and enjoys working with the publicSkills / Qualifications:

1+ years of professional event planning and executionEvening / Weekend availability for onsite set up / working / tear down of brand activationTech-savvy; strong computer skills (AES is a Google drive/gmail company)Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 50 lbs regularly while transporting event supplies and setting up the brand activationMust complete and clear a MVR (motor vehicle) background screen, have reliable transportation to our Madison WI warehouse location (and other locations as assigned) and comfortable driving a company vehicle for work related eventsCompensation

This is a part-time non-exempt position with an expected pay rate of $25.00/hr.Schedule and work shifts will average 15 hours a week with additional hours available during the summer period (subject to change)Profit sharing bonus based on company performancePTO accrual of up to 80 hours annually (prorated based on hours worked)Much more!
