Role Overview:

As an Advertising Sales Executive at Nebraska Life Magazine, you will play a pivotal role in generating revenue by building relationships with businesses and organizations across the state. You will be responsible for selling print and digital advertising solutions to a diverse client base, including local businesses, tourism boards, and state-wide enterprises. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our magazine, helping us continue to tell Nebraska’s stories in new and exciting ways.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new advertising clients by understanding their marketing needs and offering tailored solutions.Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team revenue targets.Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest advertising trends and Nebraska Life Magazine’s offerings to provide clients with the best possible solutions.Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and progress towards targets.Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and design teams to ensure the seamless integration of advertisements into the magazine’s content.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of proven success in advertising sales, preferably within print or digital media.Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Nebraska market and a passion for the state’s culture and communities.Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-Motivation: A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital advertising tools.Travel: Willingness to travel within Nebraska to meet with clients and attend industry events.
