Position Overview

The Marketing & Communications team seeks an Internal Communications Manager to support internal stakeholder communications across Ascot Group. This role will enhance employee engagement, amplify group messaging and strategy, and effectively manage change.

Reporting to the Vice President, Director of Content and Product Marketing, and collaborating with Human Resources, the Internal Communications Manager will create strategies to improve employee understanding and involvement. Responsibilities include developing and executing communication plans for functional areas and Employee Resource Groups (ERG), providing executive communication support, and creating engaging content for various internal channels such as intranet, newsletters, email, SharePoint, and screensavers.

Responsibilities:Develop communication plans and conceptualize, compose, and edit communications in support of internal initiatives across the company's global operations.Manage the company's internal communications calendar and email communication platform.Measure the success of communications and make recommendations to optimize future communications plans.Assist in annual communications planning and the development of a comprehensive internal communications calendar, enabling a proactive approach to Group communications.Champion The Ascot Way by demonstrating the company's culture tenets in their daily interactions, fostering collaboration, inclusivity and an entrepreneurial spirit amongst colleagues.Partner with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and coordination of processes across corporate initiatives.Manage the corporate narrative and facilitate a clear understanding of the company's corporate strategy at all levels of the organization through intentional and consistent messaging.Draft talking points and presentations for internal events (ie. town halls, internal panels) in collaboration with key stakeholders, and support internal events.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related majorDemonstrate strong leadership skills by effectively guiding and influencing teams and initiatives, driving positive outcomes and fostering a collaborative work environment.Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks with a strong attention to detailAbility to translate complex information into easy-to-understand, actionable and compelling content that resonates with employees.Superior writing and editing skills and a proven ability to tailor messaging to achieve distinct audience objectives.Strategic thinker and collaborative team player.5-7+ years in strategic communications with a focus on internal communications and employee engagementExperience in employee engagement and internal communications strategies, ideally gained in the financial services sector***This position may be filled at a different level, depending on experience***

Compensation

Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual cash bonus, long-term incentives, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company.

The annualized base pay range for this role in New York - $120,000 - $140,000.
