Emerge is actively recruiting for a VP Sales and Marketing role for a fantastic client company in Stuart, Florida. MUST HAVE RF/MICROWAVE product knowledge and familiarity with THEIR CUSTOMER MARKETPLACE.The Vice President of Sales and Marketing has overall responsibility for meeting and exceeding the new orders budget and meeting departmental strategic goals and objectives such as increasing customer and part count and increase the number of quotations issued year over year. Increase the opportunity pipeline to ensure adequate nearer term orders forecast is present to ensure monthly bookings budget is met. Lead efforts for market segmentation goals as identified in annual operating plan.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Manage and lead Inside Sales, Product Management and Field Sales activities needed to meet/exceed new orders budget at the budgeted gross margin.Develop customer relationships with key contacts within customer base, maintain, and execute against Opportunity Sales Funnel and bookings forecast.Ensure each Region and Key Account is expending appropriate energy and effort in order to exceed their bookings quotas.Report progress against budget monthly in all budget metrics such as quote, customer and part count and market diversification efforts.Work closely with Inside Sales personnel, other managers, and franchised vendors to support new orders needsIdentify products to ensure we are a valued resource for customers’ current and future requirements and develop capture strategies working in concert with Product ManagementLead Vendor Quarterly Business Review summary data and present same when scheduled. Ensure growth and design-in activities exist for each significant vendor.Manage Expense Budget monthly for Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:RF/Microwave/Fiber Optic product knowledge• Familiarity with the RF/Microwave market segments• Customer familiarity/relationships with Key Accounts• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related field AND• Five years of prior RF/Microwave industry experience OR• Equivalent combination of education and experience• Current driver’s license and reliable automobile suitable to use for customer meetings• Ability to operate remotely in a home office environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has all Regional Sales Managers, Key Account Manager, Product Management and Inside Sales report to them.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:The position is based in Stuart, FloridaExcellent communications skills, verbal and writtenAbility to travel a minimum of 25%Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skillsEffective planning, time management and prioritization skillsFluency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OutlookExcellent presentation skillsSuccessful sales/business development growth history with demonstrated ability to identify and close opportunitiesFamiliarity with Export Controls is desiredEmployment process includes driving and criminal background checkMust be a US citizen or have a work permit to work in the USVaccination against COVID is preferrable
