In every project, from cups to cities, we unite people through extraordinary places and experiences.As an Entry-Level Landscape Designer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic landscape design team, contributing to the creation of innovative and sustainable landscape designs. This position is ideal for an individual with less than three years’ professional experience in the landscape design profession. You will work under the guidance of senior designers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to bring creative solutions to various projects, and grow together with the RIOS Shanghai office.Essential Duties IncludeLearning, promoting and striving to apply our office Mission and Values of curiosity, inclusion, collaboration, making, and perspective through a collaborative design outlook on all assigned project tasks.Actively engaging in the design process and working toward the successful performance and completion of a project.Successful and accurate delivery of assigned project tasks that meet the project requirements and goals set forth by project leadership.Demonstrating the ability to show initiative and the ability to think critically and reasonably to anticipate task completion needs.Effectively communicating with project leadership and peers; to include asking appropriate questions when necessary.Striving to ensure a high-quality design delivery through continued, self-guided learning of professional practice and discipline.Fostering and encouraging a positive work environment among peers and teams both in attitude and outlook; engaging in the office culture.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should possess the following skills:Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Art Design. (Candidates with overseas study or work experience in international design forms are preferred.)Possess 1-3 years of Chinese landscape design project experience, demonstrating the ability and experience to coordinate with clients and design consultants during projects.Demonstrated excellent design ability and skills in presenting design drawings, proficient in mainstream design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.Strong interest in landscape design, ecological design, and sustainable design.Good communication and teamwork skills. (Candidates with excellent written and spoken English communication skills are preferred.)Keen observation of design trends and emerging technologies.Strong learning ability and innovative spirit.Please include a cover letter.
