Together with more than 230 colleges, universities, and corporate partners, we are helping to unlock human potential.What We're Looking For:The VP of Performance Marketing, B2B, will play a crucial role in building and leading a high-performance, analytically driven B2B marketing team for edX.org. The goal is to develop and execute innovative, data-driven marketing strategies that drive growth and efficiency in our B2B operations. This role will be measured based on reaching CAC targets, in addition to building clear viewpoints on strategy, reporting on LTV, customer segmentation, and ensuring each effort and test aligns to a ROAS-positive investment strategy.This role reports into the SVP, Marketing Strategy, and will collaborate closely with the VP of Revenue Operations, SVP of Sales and SVP of Strategy & Product Marketing to build geographic regions for investment, in addition to developing target verticals and companies.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Performance Marketing and Insight:Build & lead a diverse team to integrate performance marketing technologies such as 6sense, enhancing efficiency across all stages of the marketing and sales cycle - from lead generation to customer success.Establish an analytical framework and rhythm that optimizes marketing performance, including campaign analysis, demand forecasting, goal setting, funnel growth, velocity, conversion rates, and customer retention.Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders based on thorough analysis of marketing and sales data.Partnership Expansion and Management:Onboard and support key partnerships across enterprise and consumer businesses.Ensure strong consumer experience inclusive of landing experience and creative as necessary.Meet with Partner and ensure strong roadmapping and integration on a consistent cadence dependent on each partner deal.Marketing Technology and Process:Define and maintain marketing processes and definitions to ensure data consistency and hygiene in CRM.Oversee the design and implementation of marketing technology infrastructure, including Salesforce forms/fields and related systems, ensuring seamless integration.Invest in future growth and scaling needs of our business, including a robust data architecture, analytics capabilities, and the technology stack that will not only serve us today but will propel us forward and scale.Marketing Operations:In alignment with Sales and Revenue Operations leadership, develop and implement strategic marketing plans, including regional and/or sector-specific strategies.Consistently optimize and share marketing best practices across the full customer lifecycle.Drive uniformity for key marketing terms across sales, including pricing structure and service delivery.Manage a coordinated process with Sales and Revenue Operations leadership to effectively track marketing and sales performance.Things That Should Be In Your Background:Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields required. Masters preferred.10-15 years experience with proven track record in driving and leading enterprise marketing organizations.Experience leading B2B marketing at multiple organizations.Experienced at directly creating, interpreting, and driving outcomes based on data-driven analysis.Proven experience on delivering in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B sales environment with $20-100M revenue sales.Ability to understand the customer experience and how to leverage customer insights and data inputs to inform the product.We will prioritize those who live in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and who are available to come into our Headquarters in Lanham, MD two days a week.Benefits & CultureOur global employee base is a diverse collection of innovators, dreamers, and doers working together to transform lives through higher education.
