They have expanded their understanding of multiple disciplines to offer a more holistic creative perspective in their experiential project work while becoming an expert in 2D graphic design, branding, and working with print vendors and digital partners. Additionally, Senior Designers are comfortable with leading and directing other designers in production-based design tasks and have developed basic design management skills that help both projects and people be successful.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSExhibits excellent technical design skills and seeks to continually expand creative capabilities through growing expertise in tools + software, production design, concepting and strategic thinking.Uphold and even strengthen departmental design processes to help streamline, create efficiencies, and establish quality control.Are integrated into projects early, to offer design strategy, set standards, and guide “project management” to create excellent outcomes.Develop presentation skills by being involved in client presentations and conversations. Articulate design rationale and defend design decisions with confidence.Demonstrate an understanding of production practices from print production to fabrication, to on-site surveying or installation.Develop their “basic design management skills” by managing internal team members (Junior Designers, Interns, etc.), integrating them into agency processes, teaching them best practices, and offering ongoing critiques and insights.Manage other designers and freelancers within projects to delegate work and monitor progress.Coordinate with freelance or contract creatives, supporting their integration into the team and streamlining design deliverables for client when relevant.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Product Design, Environmental Design, or similar discipline.EXPERIENCE5+ years industry/agency experience, preferably including experiential background, creating graphic designs, printed assets, environmental branding, digital assets, etc.Strong portfolio of creative work and concepts, including designs for both digital and IRL experiences and events for Fortune 500 brands.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES2D DESIGN: Expertise in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), proficiency required. Knowledge of print file prep, printing techniques and materials is required.UI/ UX: Experience in design prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) and working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript and other coding languages or software is a plus.MOTION GRAPHICS + VIDEO EDITING: Expertise in After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, or similar animation and editing software.SOCIAL MEDIA + INFLUENCER: Understand the ideation, development, and deployment of content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.PRESENTATION: Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Slides, proficiency required.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to articulate strategic creative solutions to clients.Ability to translate strategic vision into tangible project deliverables.Strong work ethic with an ability to thrive in and enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Ability to multi-task while coordinating multiple projects and resources.Solid understanding of digital and interactive communications, including social media marketing, content strategy and multi-channel campaign execution.Experience working on event installations, including onsite support of fabricated environments, interior design/styling/set design, signage installation, site mapping, etc.Ability to manage other creatives, either as direct reports, freelancers and/or mentees.Excellent technical skills that include ability to manage docs and collaborate within Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.), Keynote, Google Drive (Slides, Sheets, etc.)Digital/interactive technologies (AR, VR, Figma, Adobe XD, HTML 5/CSS 3/PHP) a plus.Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (if in the Los Angeles area) and travel up to 50% of the time. Remote candidates will also be considered.Compensation Range:

$75,000 - $115,000 annually. This is the pay range Think True believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role. Think True reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For the permanent full-time role, Benefits include: medical/dental/vision insurance, employer paid basic life and personal accident insurance.
