The VP of Marketing, Demand Generation, will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy targeting SMB clients. This role involves creating a cohesive revenue ecosystem by integrating sales and marketing efforts and utilizing CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.

This VP will lead revenue generation processes from market identification and demand generation to customer acquisition, focusing on addressing client challenges through comprehensive solutions.A critical function of this role will be to drive demand generation and lead generation strategies, ensuring optimal alignment between marketing and sales for maximum impact.

Minneapolis, MN (Southwest Metro) - Onsite

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement GTM Strategy:

Create a multi-channel go-to-market (GTM) strategy tailored to SMB clients. This involves identifying and leveraging the most effective channels to reach these target markets and drive engagement.

Optimize Sales and Marketing Processes:

Enhance sales and marketing processes, including territory planning, lead-to-deal processes, sales velocity, and stage-to-stage sales conversion. Focus on streamlining workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Demand Generation Strategies:

Develop and execute demand generation strategies that align with target personas within the identified Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Ensure these strategies drive pipeline and revenue growth by understanding and addressing the needs and behaviors of the buying group, personas, and the factors influencing their buying decisions.

Technology & Data Management

Evaluation and Selection:

Conduct thorough assessments of various CRM and GTM technologies, including Marketing Automation, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), and Outreach tools, to identify the best-fit solutions for the organization's needs.

Implementation:

Oversee selected technologies' seamless integration and deployment, ensuring they align with existing systems and processes. Collaborate with IT and relevant teams to manage implementation timelines and resolve technical issues.

Dashboard Development:

Create and maintain comprehensive, user-friendly dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key revenue metrics. Ensure dashboards are tailored to stakeholders, from executives to front-line sales and marketing teams.

Reporting:

Generate detailed reports that track the performance of different marketing and sales channels, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Use these reports to guide regular reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Marketing & Campaign Management

Integrated Campaign Execution:

Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that leverage data insights to target the right audience segments with personalized messaging across multiple channels.

Marketing Operations Oversight:

Oversee all aspects of marketing operations, ensuring efficient and scalable processes. Implement best practices for campaign execution, lead management, and customer engagement.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in B2B Tech or SaaS marketing, focusing on SMB and Midmarket clients.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from marketing and sales data.

Proven ability to implement and optimize lead management practices, including lead scoring, nurturing, and segmentation.

In-depth understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution.

Experience managing and governing a large marketing automation platform.

Excellent communication skills, technical acumen, and a desire to improve processes.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
