The Office of Research and Innovation at the Naval Postgraduate School invites applications for faculty associate positions who will support research activities and field experimentation across NPS. Applicants should have experience with unmanned aerial systems (UAS), government requirements to fly such systems, and the ability to develop complex plans for testing and experimentation with UAS. Field experimentation support will also include spectrum management, hazardous/energetic material handling and compliance, and permitting requirements. Research activity support may include laser/radiation safety compliance, export control programs, equipment maintenance and safety, facilities planning.Required Qualifications

:An Earned graduate degree in a discipline that supports the research line and departmental thesis needs.Demonstrated aptitude for scientific research; andDemonstrated ability to work with student researchers.Preferred Qualifications

:A Master Degree in a discipline that supports the research line.Applicants who possess any combination of the desired skills and experience are encouraged to apply.
