Duties for Lead and Non-lead iCoach:Responsible for the backstage Tech Crew during set building sessions, rehearsals, and performances. A theater tech background and comfort with building materials is preferable but not required. This person will guide the Tech Crew students to help prepare the sets/props for the show and move the sets/props during rehearsals and shows as needed. We are looking for a collaborative and organized person who is great with motivating young people. They will be working together with a parent committee of volunteers to facilitate the creation of sets/props along with student assistance and directing team guidance. They would also have the opportunity to learn various skills during the tech training seminars led by the high school theater. Build days are scheduled by the Technical Director and Set Construction parent committee. Rehearsals start Monday, October 7-11, 3:30-6:00pm and Sunday, October 13, 2:00-5:00pm. Dress Rehearsals are Monday, October 14-17, 3:30-6:30pm and performances are 10/18 and 10/19 at 7pm (arrive at 6pm) and 10/20 at 2pm (arrive at 1pm). This person would also assist with set tear down following the final performance.Employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment with the District.This job description is subject to change and in no manner states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by the incumbent.
