is seeking a highly skilled
IT Instructional Designer
to join our client in
Rockville, Maryland.
The ideal candidate will excel in developing a wide range of training and educational materials, including graphics, videos, curricula, and process documentation. This role requires the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications to create tailored content that meets user needs. The Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with the Change Management team and other stakeholders to design and deliver impactful training programs that drive employee engagement and support organizational goals.
Job Location: Rockville, Maryland (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Develop subject matter expertise in specific functional areas to support effective training and communication.
Design and implement training plans, schedules, and materials, including quick start guides and job aids.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create strategic communications and training content.
Manage stakeholder expectations and encourage positive organizational change.
Develop system-based training materials using tools like
Camtasia
and
Adobe Captivate .
Evaluate and manage vendor relationships for new training opportunities.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in system-based content development and training material creation.
Strong organizational design and change management skills.
Proficiency in multimedia tools such as
Adobe Captivate ,
Camtasia , and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with large-scale organizational change initiatives.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization.
