Qualifications

The Senior Instructional Designer needs 4+ years of experience in designing complex instructional sound training programs using multiple delivery methods (instructor-led, computer-based, media-enhanced, etc.).

Senior Instructional Designer requires:

Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.Demonstrated competence with Adobe Creative Suite applications (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat) and a wide variety of instructional design and development tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).Strong design sense as demonstrated both in print materials and online learning examples. Must be able to work closely with a team and also manage projects independently from analysis through evaluation.Strong attention to detail.Experience writing technical or medical content preferred.Experience designing highly interactive and task-based technical training programs using multiple media and blended approaches (eLearning, instructor-led, job aids, and on-the-job support tools).Experience developing learning objectives that align to strategic priorities; building collaborative and consultative relationships with subject matter experts, clients, and peers; participating in defining and documenting learning needs assessment, data analysis, and recommended learning solutions; using raw content provided by subject matter experts to write scripts, storyboards, and design documents.Experience creating assessments that align to course objectives.Ability to describe and document key concepts behind evaluation of learning effectiveness and determining the impact of learning measurements.
