Communications Assistant

Builden Partners seeks a Communications Assistant to advance the written and tactical efforts of the marketing strategy we deliver for our growing list of law firm clients.

This position is currently hybrid with the expectation of being in our Chicago Loop office 3-4 times a month.

The Communications Assistant will play a number of critical roles at Builden Partners including:

Drafting multiple types of content including:

Website copy, such as bios, practice group descriptions and case winsSocial media copy for LinkedIn, X and FacebookClient newsletters and alertsAward submissions, including award and list tracking management

Delivering digital marketing communications projects including:

E-blasts, invitations and adsBack-end website executionSocial media post coordination and metrics analysisGraphics development

Executing event logistics including:

List managementRSVP tracking and guest outreachDay-of webinar technical and logistical support

Conducting secondary research for projects such as:

Market intelligence by region or practice groupSponsorship opportunitiesSpeaking engagementsEvent support

Administrative tasks to support the senior leadership team including:

CRM updatesMeeting logistics and office managementRecruiting admin tasksOrdering gifts

The right candidate:

Has exceptional written and verbal communication skillsHas 1-2 years of experience in a PR agency, marketing agency or professional services settingHas a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or a related fieldHas a demonstrated ability to pull information from multiple sources and synthesize content into well-constructed deliverablesIs technologically savvy including back-end website proficiency and social media skillsIs extremely detail-oriented and willing to proof deliverables multiple times to ensure the highest-quality contentIs highly focused and enjoys working within our process-driven modelCan work independently, prioritize multiple projects and manage time effectivelyWill thrive in our fast-paced cultureWants to learn and develop as a marketing communications professionalBuilden Partners core values:
