?

We are looking for a talented Marketing Officer to join our team and help us drive our marketing efforts to new heights. If you have a knack for making informed decisions, building relationships, and creating engaging content, we want to hear from you!

You’ll join the team as a Marketing Officer for our shared ownership new build properties. You will be marketing newly built properties within specific locations, helping our future customers find their new home.

You will be a brand ambassador for Aster and shared ownership, helping our Digital Marketing team create social media content to promote our homes for sale. You will complete thorough market research and look into what our competitors are doing to enable you to develop really effective marketing strategies.

You’ll spend time on location attending sales events to generate leads and will be the face of new build shared ownership properties.

In this role, you will carry out market research and target audience analysis, providing your marketing recommendations to the Head of Marketing. You'll evaluate RICS valuations and market research to ensure competitive pricing for new developments. Analysing lead statistics will be crucial for identifying market trends and adjusting marketing strategies to effectively sell our shared ownership homes.

Building strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies is essential for smooth operations within the sales and marketing team. You'll serve as the main point of contact for customers across various communication and social media channels, addressing sales enquiries. Gathering and preparing marketing documents, such as floor plans, EPCs, and valuations, will be part of your routine to market our homes for sale.

In addition to this, you’ll be supporting the Digital Marketing team in creating social media content and capturing video content from on-site visits to enhance our digital marketing strategy. Promoting shared ownership properties and Aster's services on social media and to stakeholders, you'll act as a positive brand ambassador.

Maintaining efficient office systems and providing performance information to the Head of Marketing as needed will ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll manage your workload, attend shows, events, and open days to promote shared ownership and our homes for sale. Writing engaging content for development pages on the Aster sales website, blogs, brochures, and other marketing materials will be part of your creative responsibilities.

Staying updated on new marketing trends and assisting the digital marketing team with brainstorming and planning new ideas will keep our strategies innovative. You'll monitor social media channels, live chat, and home ownership enquiries during evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, and other times as needed (on a rotation basis). Understanding our secondary market for resale homes and shared ownership will also be important, and you'll assist in marketing activities in these areas as required.

This is a varied role and you’ll appreciate the variety it brings.

If you come to the role with a qualification in marketing that would be advantageous.

You will have previous experience in marketing and will be able to demonstrate your ability to use META, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, email marketing, content marketing, copywriting, and search engine optimisation (SEO).

You may already have awareness of shared ownership but if you don’t that’s fine, a really keen interest will mean that we can teach you all you need to know.

You will be familiar with CRM software, social media management tools and CMS platforms, like WordPress.

You will consider yourself to very organised and approachable and will want to share your enthusiasm about shared ownership with everyone you meet.

This role will be predominately home based, but you will be required to travel between regions and offices to attend meetings and to curate content in our operating areas. Hours of work will be during weekdays, Monday-Friday, with evening, weekend and Bank Holiday cover on rotation within the team.

Ideally you’ll be based within our operating regions as travel will be required to visit our new build homes for sale which span across Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and London.
