This practice operates more than 25 locations throughout the greater Chicagoland area, with a corporate office in Mokena. The new Director will work as needed in the corporate office, also traveling to current sites and prospective referral source locations within the suburbs, with remote work days as schedules allow.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This organization is a provider of children’s therapy services and is highly regarded in the area. They’ve been experiencing (and will continue to experience) significant growth and are seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to coordinate and lead ongoing marketing efforts.

This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing a team of marketing specialists. The Director of Marketing & Communications will focus on both talent recruitment marketing and traditional referral source development marketing.

The Director of Marketing & Communications will be a key leader in regard to marketing as it relates to employee development, retention, and other similar activities. They will work closely with human resources on positioning employee messaging, crafting job descriptions, etc.

A key part of the Director’s role will be to market the organization to prospective employees. This includes responsibility for public relations, strategic communications, business integration, and building both internal and external relationships. This position has wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment.

Additionally, the position will focus on internal and external marketing and communications. In that capacity, the Director will:

create and oversee a corporate marketing and communication planenhance the organization’s image and position among internal and external stakeholdersdevelop and execute digital marketing campaigns / events and evaluate their effectivenesscoordinate the appearance of all print and digital materials, brochures, and signagedevelop short- and long-range plans and budgets for the marketing programdevelop, establish, implement, and monitor promotional marketing and communication modelsunderstand demand generation and develop tactics to target, inform, and convert audiencesset metrics and goals for staff marketersdevelop methodologies to assess marketing performance and impact on revenuemotivate and develop staff while ensuring team accountability and successassist with the development of new revenue sourcescreate and maintain information on competition and target areas for future growthprovide writing and editing support for internal and external communicationsensures that the brand is effectively promoted across all marketsensure branding efforts achieve maximum impact and result in increase in impressionreview team structure and demonstrate a creative ability to position it for future growth

The Director of Marketing & Communications must demonstrate a strong digital marketing acumen in SEO, PPC advertising, content marketing, social media marketing, website/UX enhancement, and reputation management. A successful candidate will be able to work both independently and in a collaborative environment, be self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.

REQUIREMENTS:
