Manages and coordinates the agency’s learning and development function, including special contracts, instructor and learning curricula development. This position directly manages staff and coordinates the standardized learning functions of Learning Partners in multiple locations. The focus of the position is on clinical content but includes agency-wide training content needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages and coordinates agency training, including the alignment of clinical strategies and logic models.Develops and manages current available methods of training delivery including video, DVD, audio formats, on-line learning, third-party e-learning vendors, and authoring tools; both software and hardware learning mediums.Manages the development of training to meet regulatory and contractual requirements for the agency.Directly supervises, hires, trains and evaluates Learning Partners.Conducts training as needed throughout the Agency.Manages the CEU process including licensure and course approval, and granting of CEUs.Conducts training needs assessments, soliciting input from all stakeholders.Serves as project manager to ensure the completion of curriculum development.Leads inter-interdisciplinary teams and completion of special projects.Oversees the Development of training content, including participant guides, facilitator manuals, and job aids.Evaluates training outcomes and collaborates on necessary modifications.Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned.Other Duties and ResponsibilitiesPractices self-care and treats others with grace.Encouraging Customer FocusLeads Team PerformanceManages Multiple PrioritiesOrganizational AgilitySupervision and AccountabilityExperience / RequirementsMaster of Arts (M.A.) degreeCalifornia licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) required.Experience in training, learning or Human Capital Management systems environment required.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3 years as manager with experience in training preferred.Highly Desirable Qualifications:Education and work experience in Behavioral Health, or related field is highly desirable.Five years experience in Clinical Education, at least three of which have been in a management role.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand or sit. The employee is required to use hands to produce records and/or documentation in manual or electronic format. The employee must possess ability to ensure significant communication with the Clinics’ community members.
