Summary:

Reporting to the director of enrollment services, the digital content manager provides leadership and develops content and strategies to advance the communication efforts of the Office of Admission across social, digital and traditional media platforms to engage prospective undergraduate, online and graduate students.Job Description:Essential duties and responsibilities:Plan, develop, execute and evaluate targeted, cross-channel digital communication campaigns, strategies, tools and tactics to assist the Office of Admission meet its enrollment goals.Develop and implement innovative and comprehensive social media and digital strategies and programs that will engage prospective students, families and educators with the university.Collaborate with the admission communication coordinator regarding consistent messaging for prospective students and parents.Serve as a liaison to the Office of Marketing and Communication to create admission related web content, produce videos and develop photographic content for the Office of Admission.Create, manage, monitor and maintain admission content for varying online sources and social and digital media platforms.Construct content and manage a fall, spring and summer admission microsite, exclusively for accepted students and their parents.Analyze data and campaign results to make necessary adjustments to communication strategies and tactics; prepare reports detailing the effectiveness of recruitment activities across social and digital media platforms.Create new and engaging videos that highlight the university’s academic, social, cultural and athletic environments.Hire, train and mentor student admission ambassadors in the creation of social/digital content and personalized videos for all accepted students.Monitor trends in social media tools and applications and applies key strategies to the admission office’s social and digital properties.Ensure all admission social media pages align with the university’s mission, vision and key messages.Respond to comments, questions and feedback across digital platforms; produce and identify weekly, daily and often real-time content updates.Participate in various on-campus admission events to capture and convey the essence of Lynn University.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:Knowledge of and adept at navigating social media platforms in order to communicate with prospective students.Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, communication, leadership, organizational and programming skills.Ability to clearly and persuasively articulate university programs and offerings to prospective students.Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze data reports from social and digital media platforms is required.Knowledge of admission terminology.Proficient verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems independently.Ability to work a varied schedule with flexible hours including occasional weekends and evenings.Demonstrated ability at planning and organizing multiple projects and tasks.Ability to learn and apply institutional policies and procedures.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and photo/video editing tools is required.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize work effectively.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required. Candidates with a master’s degree preferred.Three years of progressive admission and higher education experience is preferred.
