Must be 21 years or olderMust qualify for gaming licenseMust pass a pre-employment drug testCannot be convicted of a felonyHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredBachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred or an equivalent amount of work experience, formal education, and training5 years of experience in casino marketing; additional related education or experience may be substitutedDigital and social media campaign experience preferredTwo years of supervisory experience requiredAt least one year of high-level customer service or sales experience requiredPrior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferredPrior experience in Tribal Gaming preferredExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with guests and other team membersStrong social media skills across multiple platforms and proven ability to adapt to changing digital mediaComputer experience essential, including all windows applicationsMust be proficient with MS OfficeStrong organization and administration skills requiredKnowledge and experience with web development and social media marketingExperience with direct mail marketing and use of database analyticsExperience with photo shoots and video productionAbility to work as part of a team to achieve departmental and company objectivesAbility to work without supervision, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts of detail necessaryAbility to work under pressure situations with deadlines with a friendly, approachable and customer service-oriented demeanor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Responsible for the direction and management of the following operations: Marketing, Special Events, Promotions, Players Club and Player DevelopmentDevelop and maintain a customer base primarily consisting of slot playersOrganize and coordinate with outside vendors for entertainment, promotions, and eventsCreate media plan; develop media budget and monitor related expenditures. Develop and maintain forecasting, budgeting, and variances reportsDevelop and execute tourism/marketing activities such as collateral, print, broadcast, billboards, social media, online advertising and external marketing and tourism communicationsProvide strategic direction to support and facilitate the development and implementation of marketing plansGenerate creative concepts and participate in marketing related activities that generate additional revenueMonitor deadlines and act as liaison between ad agencies, printers, and graphic designersReview and approve copy for all marketing mediums and collateral ensuring consistent brandingAssist in writing and developing direct mail pieces, in-house flyers, vouchers, and couponsCoordinate web site management and email promotionsAssist in website content, mobile app content as neededAct as liaison between all departments pertaining to internal marketing collateral needsDevelopment of various tourism and group sales related campaigns to attract out-of-town visitorsAttract and work with travel writers to ensure positive promotion of the casino and the geographic regionCoordinate property interior and exterior photo shoots and video productionAct as marketing support for events, concerts, casino functions, and public relations activitiesResponsible for achieving revenue, income, market share, and guest service objectives in accordance with casino policy and Gaming Commission regulationsResponsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest serviceHire, motivate, evaluate, and direct departmental staff, ensuring team members receive the training, support, adequate guidance, and necessary resources to accomplish established objectivesDirect long and short-term planning for all functions of the marketing department including analysis of product and market opportunities, program effectiveness, and development of strategies to ensure adequate level of guest satisfaction and achievement of established goalsApprove, implement, and evaluate comp policies, campaigns, programs, entertainment activities and all other marketing expenditures to ensure program effectivenessDevelop and monitor research and survey activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of programsCoordinate database management functions including guest ratings and direct marketing activities to ensure the achievement of guest development goalsResponsible for the development and execution of creative and promotional solutions in response to competitive issues and problemsAttend and participate in off property meetings, seminars, functions, and events as assignedDeliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to returnPresent an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearanceAggressively market guests, track activity/responsesEfficiently respond to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction and loyaltyEffectively promote the features and benefits of Havasu Landing CasinoMeet and communicate with prospective and existing guests on the gaming floorResponsible for the highest standard of customer service, anticipate customer needs and requirements, and give each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experienceRespond to special requests of guests, as well as guest complaints and inquiries in a calm, prompt, courteous mannerMaintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidentialConduct tours of property, as neededMust work weekends, nights, and holidaysPerforms all other duties as assignedThis is a management positionThis is a full time positionPay Rate: $75,000Visit Careers at Resort & Casino Havasu Landing
