Our 14,000 miles of pipeline and storage assets provide diverse market connectivity to producers and end-users who need reliable sources of natural gas for power generation, home heating or petrochemical feedstocks. We are committed to protecting the environment while delivering this energy source, incorporating environmental stewardship, safety, and compliance into our day-to-day operations.We are currently looking for a Communications Specialist/ Sr Communications Specialist for our Houston, TX office.POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting our communication strategies, managing day-to-day internal and external communications, and contributing to our overall brand messaging.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies.Manage daily internal communication initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.Support external communication efforts, including drafting press releases, managing social media content, and coordinating with media.Collaborate with various departments to ensure aligned and cohesive messaging.Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide reports.Assist in managing communication-related projects and events.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of experience in a communications role or related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with digital, analytical and social media platforms.PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in crafting press releases, handling media inquiries, and developing effective communications with diverse stakeholders including investors, customers, and employees.Familiarity with the oil and gas industry, specifically the midstream natural gas sector.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), SEO, Google Analytics, graphic design, video editing, podcast editing.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
