Application Requirement:

Resume and Cover letter

Please include a cover letter as part of your application packet. There are three reasons why we require a cover letter as part of the application process:

This is a writing job. While writing eloquent prose is not necessarily a part of the job, stringing 8-12 sentences into 2-3 coherent paragraphs absolutely is part of the job.

Following instructions from our clients is critical to our success. If you can’t follow these instructions, we will probably not be a fit.

The cover letter will give you the opportunity to express ideas not easily conveyed on your resume.

Please address all of the following topics. Applications submitted without a cover letter addressing all of these topics will not be considered:

Describe your current work situation and why you are applying for this role.

What interested you in this role?

What specific skills do you possess that will help you succeed?

Describe your experience that relates to this position. What software did you use? Describe your exact role in the process.

What is your experience working with a financial advisor? Either professionally or as a client. If you have no experience with a financial advisor in any capacity, explain why you think someone would work with a financial advisor?

Confirm you saw the salary range for this position and that it meets your expectations. Explain the amount of money you expect to earn two years from now.

Why should we hire you?
