America’s Favorite Jeweler, Ross-Simons, a division of Luxury Brand Holdings, is seeking a Designer - Digital Design & Content (based in our Cranston, RI office) within The Creative Group, our diverse and talented in-house agency. Our team, along with our portfolio of brands are going through an exciting period of expansion and transformation. The Digital Designer reports to the Associate Creative Director and plays an important role in driving the continued transformation of the LBH portfolio of brands; Ross Simons, RS-Pure, Rare Luxuries, and Canaria.The ideal candidate will be innovative, a conceptual thinker, and have exceptional design skills. This person will work collaboratively within The Creative Group and across the organization for the ideation and implementation of promotional campaigns and seasonal themes across a variety of consumer touchpoints. This person will make aesthetic recommendations while creating layouts, mockups, and prototypes to effectively illustrate their design ideas to other members of the team or senior management. The Digital Designer will be a visual problem solver with strong communication skills when justifying design choices and giving and receiving feedback to help enhance the overall brand image by continuously improving the way that work is developed and delivered.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for designing, producing, and managing interactive experiences for desktop, mobile, and social media, with high accuracy.Ensure visual designs adhere to project requirements, objectives, and timelines.Partner closely with Associate Creative Director, Creative Team members, as well as Marketing, and Merchandising to meet goals and deadlines necessary for timely delivery of projects and creative assets.Assist in developing and maintaining the creative look and feel across all channels while maintaining the overall brand image and guidelines.Participate and collaborate in conceptual development and design ideation with Associate Creative Director and other partners.Help support creative solutions in the digital design space to support company initiatives and goals.Actively communicate with cross-functional partners to understand the strategy and deliverables, and articulate creative thinking behind the design decisions.Identify gaps in current assets and offer recommendations for new content.Successfully lead complex projects from conceptual start to final design delivery with passion and ownership.Present well-developed and strategic creative solutions to meet all project objectives.Remain current on emerging trends in advertising, digital designs and brings innovative ideas to Ross-Simons.EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of graphic design experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design or another associated subjectExperience working in fast paced Agency or In-House agency environment.A portfolio that demonstrates strong design mastery in the core areas of digital designProficient Mac userSuperior knowledge and skills with Adobe Creative SuiteExceptional project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple initiatives and be accountable from concept to final design delivery.Preferred to have experience in related industries such as jewelry, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
