Location: Houston, TX, US, 77010Facility: One Houston Center-130Department: Content & Social MediaDivision: Sustainability and Corporate AffairsLYB is seeking a motivated team member to create engaging content and execute social media campaigns across various digital platforms. As the Content & Social Media Advisor, you have a passion for social media, understand the nuances of each platform, and can tailor content accordingly. You are also a strong writer, pay close attention to detail, and can independently manage projects across multiple workstreams. Your role, which reports into the Content & Social Media Manager, will work closely with the Communications team to fulfill digital content and social media requests, develop strategies that align with LYB business objectives, and increase stakeholder engagement. This position is part of the Communications team and sits within the Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Department.Responsibilities

Maintain and create content for the LyondellBasell social media channels, website, and other digital channelsProficiency in managing various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube) and using social media publication platformsCreate and maintain content calendars for social media channelsSchedule social media posts incorporating SEO keywords and strategy for optimizationWork with graphic designers to create imagery for social media platforms, create LinkedIn event pages, and send event reminders when necessaryAssist with development of paid social media campaigns and measure resultsMonitor media channels during a crisis using the Sprinklr toolAct as a copywriter/editor and periodically review websites and other interactive properties for grammar, syntax as well as recommend content updatesBe a thought-leader on the team on innovative ways to tell storiesExperiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activitiesCollect KPIs and social media metrics as neededMeasure ROI of social media engagement, followers, and postsKeep up with social media trends across platformsPerform other duties as assignedMin. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field3+ years of experience in a similar role, including background in social media, content development, writing, or marketing communicationsKnowledge of and passion for social media platforms, websites, streaming services, and appsSuperior written skills, including strong proficiency in AP styleProven organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet quick-turn deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with both creative and business-oriented colleagues and partnersExcellent problem-solving abilitiesExceptional time management skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and balance multiple prioritiesOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Canva or Adobe InDesign preferredMust be at least 18 years of age and must be legally authorized to work in the United States (US) on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.LyondellBasell is an equal opportunity employer.
