The Director, US Communications is responsible for executing an internal and external communications strategy and plans to ensure that Kyndryl’s more than 80,000 global employees are informed, our company is positioned as an employer of choice, and that our customers and potential customers are up to date with how we can provide the most effective services and consultation. They are responsible for all elements of the internal and external communications plans, from strategic plan development through tactical execution. They will be collaborative, but also very comfortable and driven working independently and working closely with senior leaders within the organization. They will work with other key KD executives, Public Relations, Human Resources and other departments to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate strategic internal & external communications plans and tactics that help further the Company's plan, builds brand, and informs key stakeholders (employees, customers, investors, etc.) of progress made of the Company's growth objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and implement programs to communicate Kyndryl's business objectives, culture and values.Design, develop, edit, and provide guidance on content and style of all materials.Closely partner with Kyndryl's U.S. President, to clearly articulate business objectives and develop communications strategies that support and drive those objectives.Evaluate fit with target audience and implement metrics to evaluate effectiveness of communication plan delivery.Required Skills and Experience:BSc/BA in public relations, writing, communications, or relevant field.Minimum of 10+ years internal and external communications experience.Leadership or management experience.Proven experience as communications specialist.Experience in content creation and editing.Solid understanding of project management principles.Working knowledge of MS Office.Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.Proficient command of English.Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience in web design is a plus.Experience with photo and video-editing software is an asset.Experience with using Teams, Engage, and Yammer for internal communications is a plus.Experience using mass mail tools is a plus.Being YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
