Our mission is to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being by providing innovative and accessible solutions.Position Overview :We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media & Community Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand's online presence, fostering a vibrant community of health-conscious individuals, and supporting event initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing social media accounts, content creation, community engagement, and event support. Experience in the scientific field or DTC online pharmacies is preferred. The candidate must be based in Austin and be willing to work in the office two days per week.Key Responsibilities :Social Media Management :Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content that aligns with Ways2Well’s brand voice and values.Manage day-to-day social media operations, including posting, responding to comments, and engaging with followers to build a strong online community.Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to keep the brand's content fresh and relevant.Content Creation :Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visually appealing and informative content, including images, videos, infographics, and written posts.Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software to create content that resonates with our target audience.Work closely with influencers and brand ambassadors to co-create content that showcases Ways2Well’s offerings and success stories.Community Engagement :Foster a positive and supportive online community by actively engaging with followers, answering questions, and facilitating discussions on wellness topics.Implement strategies to grow the company’s social media following and increase brand loyalty.Organize and manage online events, such as live Q&A sessions, webinars, and wellness challenges to increase community participation.Event Support :Assist in the planning and execution of events - both local and national.Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and content for events.Monitor event success and report on key metrics and outcomes.Build relationships with local community groups, partners, and influencers to increase event participation.Assist in developing strategies to grow local community engagement and participation in events.Analytics and Reporting :Track and analyze social media performance metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.Prepare regular reports on social media activities, community growth, and engagement, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Preferred Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, preferably within the wellness, healthcare, or DTC online pharmacy industries.Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities.Experience in content creation, including graphic design and video editing.Familiarity with wellness trends, health optimization, and proactive healthcare solutions.Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Passion for wellness, health, and proactive living.Must be based in Austin, TX, and willing to work in the office two days per week.
