Position Summary...

The Senior Director of Operations Strategy and Process Design for Neighborhood Markets is a strategic role within the organization. They are responsible for developing and implementing the overall operations strategy for Neighborhood Markets, which includes process design, workflow optimization, and testing of future concepts. This position will have moderate travel and 3-4 reports.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Develop and implement the operations strategy for Neighborhood Markets, balancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Process Design: Design, optimize, and implement processes across various functional areas of the Neighborhood Markets.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of operations managers and analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure high performance.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to ensure alignment of operations with overall company strategy.

Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and improve the operations strategy and process design, ensuring adaptability in a changing business environment.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail context. Prior experience in process design is highly desirable.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.

Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.

Analytical Skills: High level of analytical ability to understand and evaluate complex processes.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.

Minimum Qualifications...Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area. 3 years’ supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications...Working on cross-functional teams or projects. Masters: Business Administration. Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification.
