The Program Coordinator maintains programs in Photography & Digital Arts with an eye on curriculum, outcomes, impact, and expansion.FCAC currently runs a 24-session afterschool photography program called Studio 678 which is entering its 27th year. In the fall of 2024, we are beginning our pilot year for High School Photo Club (working title) which allows us to keep graduates of the 678 program engaged and growing.We are working to add:Media Team program to further engage HS students and help them gain more skills in photography and video with an emphasis on practical work experience, career development, and college readiness.Programming to engage seniors, veterans, and other underserved populations

Responsibilities

Maintain Studio 678 program and High School Photo ClubRecruit, interview, select, train, and manage instructors, teacher advisors, and program volunteersManage program assistants and delegate tasksCommunicate and correspond with parents and families as neededArrange transportation, exhibition space, food, and book productionCoordinate the overall schedule of programs and build curriculumTrack spending and budgetsWrite and produce the annual newsletterTrack data, contribute to, and support final reportingDevelop new programming for K-12 and adultsDevelop, implement, and track budgets, curriculum, and outcomesRecruit, interview, select, train, and manage program staff and volunteersDaily office tasks as neededAnswer phone/emailsClass RegistrationSchedule and assist facility usersProcess memberships and gift certificate purchasesCustomer service and facility toursSet up classrooms and assist teachersTroubleshoot student or teacher issuesOther duties as assigned

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience managing non-profit programsSupervisory experienceBasic computer skills, Microsoft Office and Google SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience effectively engaging and working with youth and other studentsAbility to work collaboratively, establish strong, connected relationships, as a part of a creative community, and effectively communicate with youth and adult students, leadership, community partners, teaching artists, and team membersCreative and critical thinking, walks with integrity, cares about quality, and loves this workPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Human Services, or related fieldKnowledge and interest in the fields of photography and visual artsProven ability in building programs for youth and or adults based in visual arts or related; coordination of youth programs with positive outcomesHours:

Full-time (35-40 hours per week)Pay Range:

$21 - $24/hr based on experienceBenefits:
