We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic creative team. In the Web Designer role, you will play a pivotal role in creating eye-catching functional designs for a wide variety of clients using creative and software engineering/programs to design, build and improve websites. You should understand user experience and be able to build websites that are easy to understand, navigate, and use, and adhere to design standards and specifications. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to sharpen their web design skills, enjoys creative problem solving, and thrives in a team environment.Our organization’s culture is everything, so the ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the executive, accounts, and design teams to understand each client’s industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals while maintaining clear and open lines of communication.Responsibilities:Conceptualizing creative ideas with the Creative DirectorTesting and improving the design of the websiteMaintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standardsDesigning visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they align with client brandingCommunicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframesIncorporating functionalities and features into websitesManaging your time across multiple projects while adhering to project deadlinesCollaborating with colleagues and superiors to improve designsEnsuring and maintaining a positive environment with team membersSkills:Strong communication abilities to interact with colleagues and clientsExcellent eye for design and understanding of web elementsProficient in WordPressProficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver and other web design programs is a plusCSS, HTML, PHP, and Java coding skillsBasic database administration skills for MySQL, Access, and SQLUnderstanding of Flash and ActionScript for programmingFamiliarity with SEO principlesExcellent multimedia content development abilitiesExperience with Adobe design software (e.g., Photoshop)Understanding of UX/UI design2-4 years of web design experience at a design agency or studioAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlinesHighly self-motivated and proactiveExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsCOMPETENCIESProblem SolvingAttention to DetailTask PrioritizationPersonal AccountabilityOrganizational SkillsTime ManagementAdobe Creative SuiteWordPressQUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2-4 years of professional Web Design experienceStellar online portfolio/samples of previous design projectsArt degree or equivalent work experienceExceptional artistic and creative problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Adobe Creative SuiteExperience in Graphic Design is a plusThis is a full-time (40 hours/week) position and you will be required to work in our Murrieta, CA location two set days per week following our hybrid remote schedule.
