Position SummaryAs a Senior UX Designer, People Design, you will employ your depth of knowledge and experience designing enterprise software and digital experiences to make the complex simple, clear, and trusted. Through your obsession with the design craft, you'll set a high standard of design excellence for the experiences you design. You will craft consumer-grade, delightful experiences that are inclusive and connect all associates, streamlining everyday tasks to provide value and delight.About The TeamWalmart's People Product & Design organization is focused on transforming the associate experience through consumer-grade AI-driven digital experiences. Our mission is to activate Walmart's people-led and tech-powered strategy by building people experiences that serve 2.1 million associates across Walmart US, Sam's Club, Walmart International, and Campus.ResponsibilitiesDefine and advocate for a design vision and follow through with a plan on how to deliver against it.Lead the design and delivery of strategic digital experiences.Experience leading the product design process and building strong cross-functional partnerships.Excellent visual and interaction design skills and a keen understanding of trends in the marketplace.A strong strategic mindset and a systems-thinking approach.A deep understanding of employee-facing experiences and HR technology.Ability to communicate concepts in a clear and compelling way to audiences of all levels of understanding and levels of seniority.Deep experience with end-to-journey mapping, facilitating sessions like Design Sprints, conducting competitive analysis, and leading rapid concepting and prototyping.You'll Make An Impact ByOwning points of view across your products and initiatives and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners through delivery.Creating the experience strategy and setting a design direction for your products that deliver on the user needs and business objectives.Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.Creating scalable, enterprise-wide experiences to deliver both horizontal and vertical best-in-class UX.Driving and holding others accountable to create experiences that celebrate and empower our end users.Minimum QualificationsOption 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.Preferred QualificationsDesign certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.Knowledge of accessibility best practices and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.Primary Location: 508 SW 8TH ST, BENTONVILLE, AR 72712, United States of America
