If you are interested in contributing to the largest youth-focused non-profit in the country, please read on!Graphic Design SpecialistSalary : $48,000 - $52,000Hours : Normal business hours (Full Time)Responsibilities:Support membership, development, and program departments by designing print and digital promotional materials, including but not limited to print and digital advertisements, flyers, direct mail pieces, brochures, invitations, and signage.Support production of in-house materials and signage; printing, and ordering materials.Demonstrate the ability to pivot quickly based on strategic business needs, anticipate potential roadblocks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Help foster an environment of creativity, curiosity, and continuous learning.Communicate to staff the Y Brand and Graphic Standard Design guidelines and monitor the consistent use of said guidelines.Follow all HR and risk management policies and procedures of the institution.Attend necessary trainings as requested.Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.Position may work remotely but requires travel for projects and meetings as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field preferred.1-3 years of graphic design experience.Possess an advanced level of understanding of design fundamentals (typography, composition, layout, color, etc.).Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.Must possess proficient computer hardware/software knowledge, including but not limited to: PC/Windows, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Must be creative, organized, and have excellent communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to logically solve problems.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurances.Generous Paid Time Off + 7 paid holidays throughout the year.12% employer contribution to your YMCA pension plan.Supplemental insurance benefits.YMCA Family Membership.Up to 100% off of Childcare and Camps.Exceptional growth potential for your role and career.Job Type:
