Creative Design Specialist

RRD’s Creative Design Specialist will help create visually engaging marketing materials. The role requires hands-on experience creating, modifying and optimizing graphics, page layouts, animated GIFs, infographics and PowerPoint/Google Slide design. As an individual contributor on the corporate marketing shared services team, this position will create designs within established brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Clearly articulate RRD’s mission, brand promise, segment strategy and solutions

Collaborate with the team members on creative strategy and direction

Design, layout and format materials according to given templates

Create new design templates as directed

Build slide templates and sales presentations in PowerPoint, Google Slides and Digideck

Create graphics for email, print and digital/social ads

Work with offshore design production resources

Serve as an expert on design execution that supports multiple levels of the organization: company, segment, business unit, and service line

Work with copywriter where appropriate to ensure correct language and voice

Assist with the launches of service offerings, including html, ads, infographics, etc.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience

Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills

High sense of urgency and attention to detail

Capacity to effectively multitask, prioritize and move between multiple projects and deliverables

Proficiency in web-based tools, preference for experience in Google Suite

Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Word, PowerPoint

Bachelor’s degree required, focus in marketing or business preferred OR demonstrated ability to meet job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience
