GENERAL OVERVIEW:This role works in a fast-paced environment that receives prehospital reports from EMS agencies coming into AHN hospitals and other hospital facilities within the area. This position also works closely with hospital staff in a professional and efficient manner.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Receives prehospital reports from EMS providers on ground or air ambulances. Relays reports to multiple receiving facilities. (20%)Coordinates and dispatches specialty teams within AHN facilities. (15%)Enters data for all activities performed within the communication center. (25%)Provides direct communication to security staff and dispatches officers when indicated. (15%)Monitors safety and security for areas of responsibility. (25%)Performs other duties as assigned or required.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum:EMT or EMT-P or obtain within 2 years of hire.CPR or obtain within 6 months of hire.Preferred:Dispatching experience for an EMS agency or emergency operations center.Two years of experience in EMS and/or 911 Communications center.Disclaimer:
