We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services Team. The ideal candidate will be in commutable distance to our Montpelier, VT or Addison, TX campuses with the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule with core in-office days weekly.This individual will work closely with Senior Designers and Art Directors to create final printed and digital materials. To be successful in this role, candidates should be able to effectively communicate original ideas, have a keen eye for detail, and always be ready to learn more.Key Responsibilities and DutiesUnderstand the primary business role of the Marketing Pillars they serve and how they fit within the greater Marketing structure.Assist in the management of project archives for the Creative Team.Work closely with the team to understand design requirements and translate them into compelling visual solutions.Produce new and updated print layouts and presentations that are technically sound, compliant with current industry rules and regulations, and in line with defined brand standards and project scope.Effectively communicate creative concepts and brainstorm ideas with other members of the creative and marketing team as well as partners and internal clients.Collaborate with the team, partners, and leaders to launch projects.Experience & Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree required. Graphic Design or related discipline strongly preferred.Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience.A strong professional portfolio demonstrating the ability to develop brand-focused visuals and thoroughly thought-out design solutions is required for consideration.Preferred QualificationsProficient in design for print applications and PowerPoint slide presentations.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to design for other project types including HTML/Web, Video, social media, etc. a plus.Clear communicator who can work within a variety of settings.A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management skills.A talent for creativity and problem-solving.
