As Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, Leveraging our Lands, you will:Develop a multi-year strategic marketing and communications plan as well as a structure for decision-making surrounding TNC's Leveraging our Lands initiative.Develop and measure KPIs to track audience engagement, awareness, revenue, and membership via preserve visitation.Manage Leveraging our Lands marketing and communications budget and create reports for funders.Implement Leveraging our Lands strategic marketing and communications plan and make strategic recommendations for adjustments based on tracking KPIs tied to key results/interim milestones.Responsible for creating online web content, digital promotions, email outreach, and social media engagement campaigns that are replicable across TNC.Organize, manage, and coordinate diverse projects and activities with many variables, including managing the tracking, reporting, and analysis of digital performance data.Leverage a variety of digital tools and platforms.Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders.Work to resolve complex issues independently within program area with counsel from Director of Leveraging Our Lands and Director of N. America Activation and Integration.Ensure adherence to brand principles and alignment with global development priorities.Oversee contractors as needed.Assist with creation/administration of budget, evaluate results, and develop corrective strategies as needed.Responsible and accountable for meeting strategic goals and objectives.May manage one or more professional staff and be accountable for achievement of team business and professional development goals and objectives.Influence without authority.Travel for business meetings, team retreats, and/or professional development.Other related duties as assigned.We're looking for you. The ideal candidate will have all or some of these qualifications. If you don't have all of them, apply anyway and tell us about your skills and experience:Multi-lingual skills appreciated.Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.Experience developing, implementing and measuring communication and engagement plans/strategies.Solid knowledge of word processing and web platforms.Demonstrated ability in managing the fiduciary aspects of planning and delivery of budgets.Excellent writing, presentation, communication, mediation, and negotiation skills.Familiarity with communication technologies and best practices, e.g., content management software, digital and graphic design skills, Adobe InDesign, or similar software.Management experience that includes ability to lead, motivate, set objectives and manage performance and conflict resolution.Fosters an environment of creativity and professional growth.Ability to persuasively convey the mission of The Nature Conservancy to diverse groups including donors, board members, and the public.Expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in relevant marketing disciplines. Cross-disciplinary knowledge to support program objectives.What you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience supervising staff and teams.Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.Experience in project management, developing marketing strategies and measuring results.What we bring:Since 1951, The Nature Conservancy has been doing work you can believe in protecting the lands and waters that all life depends on.
