NWACC offers a full range of associate degrees, certificates and workforce training programs that prepare students for rewarding futures and careers.NWACC employees are dedicated to fostering a diverse educational community and cultural learning environment that supports student success.Under the collaborative direction of Brightwater; A Center for the Study of Food, NWACC Marketing, and the Walton Family Foundation, this position will continue to promote and maintain NWACC’s Brightwater marketing and community outreach presence, as well as develop and implement all marketing strategies and campaigns related to the current programs and its future endeavors. In consultation with others, this position will be the lead content creator for all things Brightwater in order to increase brand awareness, recruit for the signature programs, and draw students, visitors, and industry to the region. This position will have regional, national, and international reach and needs to demonstrate competence in driving prospects to convert to enrollment and creating, maintaining, and analyzing all marketing content therein. Finally, this person will be the lead outreach ambassador for each program, including attending events, regional K12 schools, conferences, and professional development to capture content, network, promote the programs, and draw enrollment.This innovative thought leader will be adept at evaluating the needs of the consumer market and will understand how and where to acquire knowledge about the industry and governmental needs in the food industry as well as in consumer trends in eating, growing, and education and demands related to the food industry. This person will execute marketing strategies to promote culinary, baking and pastry, apprenticeship, professional training, and consumer-based education in Northwest Arkansas. This position supports the collective missions of NWACC, Brightwater, and the Walton Family Foundation, and reports monthly on the strategy for, and production and performance of, the WFF grants funds dedicated to marketing.Essential Duties

INBOUND MARKETING

Create a minimum of 3 social media posts of instructor, alumni or student content each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, etc.).Blog/email marketing (Axios) on an ongoing basis to support and promote Brightwater programs and the culinary & hospitality industry and lifestyle to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.Grow our subscriber base by providing regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.SOCIAL MEDIA

Build and manage the Brightwater social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks; such as YouTube; to spread our brand and content.Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about the culinary & hospitality industry both from existing leads and students/customers as well as from brand new audiences.Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success for program enrollment, CORE programming, pop-up events and other events as discussed with the Brightwater Leadership Team.Updates TouchNet system for marketing and sales of Brightwater’s CORE and BWorkforce Readiness programs related courses and products.Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from NWACC’s social network presence.Explore ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target audience.Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.Perform any other related duties for Brightwater as required or assigned.OUTREACH

Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about program news and other initiatives.Assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site collateral.Create content regularly to grow the program’s footprint (press releases, announcements, and creative content).Attend and assist with all marketing aspects of specialized events specific to Brightwater as needed.Work alongside the Brightwater Leadership Team to design Brightwater specific merchandise for sale within the school and online.Meet with NWACC PR/ Marketing and Communications team monthly.Rate of pay: $47,000 - 55,000 annualizedKNOWLEDGE

BA/BS degree in a related field plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or an Associate’s Degree plus extensive experience (6+ years) and portfolio.Progressively responsible equivalent work experience.Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and creating campaign content including web, social, video, photos, and graphic design. Having experience in all these areas will be useful in this position.Demonstrated proficiency in using marketing strategies to generate traffic, convert visitors to leads, and then nurture them using dynamic workflows into converted customers.Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.Preferred Qualifications
