Nordstrom’s centralized Customer Analytics team focuses on supporting executive management with robust decision support data science. Here we build data science products and provide analytics consulting in support of strategic business decisions, including customer segmentation, marketing, company strategy, and digital experience. We work as the quantitative right-hand for the executive team with a passion for supporting data-driven decision making, a devotion to advanced techniques, along with a creative team spirit!One area our team covers is Nordstrom’s retailer media network (“NMN”). We are seeking a Sr. Manager to join our team to support our strategic, best-in-class analytics program for reporting on and optimizing the success of the media network in terms of both brand partnerships and engaging customer audiences. This role requires leading (and growing!) a team of analysts and close collaboration with multiple marketing and product partners across the organization.The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong storyteller who is always looking for new opportunities to solve business problems with data-driven tools. The individual should be highly curious about the business, pursue actionable insights and able to present to, and effectively manage, stakeholder relationships. 8+ years’ experience in marketing and customer data science & analytics, preferably in retail/e-commerce industry.3+ years of experience leading/mentoring a team or junior peers.4+ years or strong working knowledge of SQL/BigQuery and working with digital data and big data solutions (e.g., Teradata, GCP).3+ years of working experience with platforms like Google Analytics, Liveramp, Safe Haven, CDPs.Graphics/visualization software (e.g. Shiny, Tableau) knowledge.Soft skills:Curious, flexible mindset.Storyteller focused on actionability.Strong problem solving and communication skills.Energized by collaboration.Effective bi-directional management.We’ve got you covered…

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.California & Washington: $162,000-$297,000 annually, Colorado: $162,000-$252,500 annually.This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
