The Communications Business Partner works directly with key stakeholders from across, and at all levels of the organization. The Business Partner builds an in-depth knowledge of the organization’s business lines, strategy and goals, objectives, customer offerings, and culture, to inform critical projects and campaigns. The Communications Business Partner will create, drive, and, with support of the Manager Organizational Communications and Director Organizational Communications, develop, execute, and manage strategic, integrated communications plans in support of business priorities. The Business Partner will serve as a link between the communications teams and the business line/lines, providing expert advice to ensure communications are central to decision-making and planning.Job Description

Key Outcomes:Partners with key business lines and functional areas to develop and refine communications strategies aligned with overarching MPHC strategic initiatives, objectives, and goals.Identifies opportunities for audience engagement, messaging, and delivery tactics based on behavior assessments, tracking, and data.Creates communications plans and timelines that ensure timely delivery of messaging.Identifies and manages channel usage.Demonstrates ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization including executive and c-suite.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related discipline.5+ years’ experience in communications-related field; editorial, copywriting, content management, journalism, or marketing communications.Experience in self-directed copywriting, revising, and editorial abilities, with the ability to influence senior and executive leaders to align messaging with benchmarked writing and content standards.Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):Proven ability to apply strategic and tactical communications planning to increase engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders and audiences.Extensive experience with/knowledge of communications platforms, channels, software, and tools.Demonstrated ability to create sophisticated editorial content calendars to meet short and long-term business objectives.Team-oriented and flexible.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Understanding of design concepts and applying brand standards and guidelines in all work.Highly adept at distilling complex or technical concepts and/or language for a variety of audiences.
