Graphic DesignerThe Opportunity:The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for various projects, such as branding materials, advertising, social media graphics, and website layouts. The Graphic Designer should have experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. The position is in Houston, TX.Responsibilities:Graphic design (85%)Website updates and postings (5%)Social media (10%)Create PowerPoint slides for executive teamGraphic design support for internal and external marketing campaignsCreate flyers, posters, advertisements, newslettersDesign infographicsLayout and design of company calendar, annual report, sustainability reportSocial media graphicsCreate branded templates using Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPointQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experienceProficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities with acute attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with branding, typography, photography, and color theoryDemonstrated ability to conceptualize, design, and develop creative solutions to technical informationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with WordPress, HTML/CSS, and web design is a plusB2B and/or government contracting (B2G) experience preferredBenefits:Competitive salary401(k) program that includes 100% company matching of the first 6% of employee contributions with immediate vesting.Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).Annual profit-sharing contributions by the company to participants’ 401(k) accounts based on company’s annual performance.Medical, Dental, Prescription, Life and Disability insurance plans.Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
