YOUR ROLE:

RAPP is seeking a

Senior Art Director

for our agency. In this senior position, the employee must provide strong conceptual thinking, highly developed design skills, and expertise in design programs. Push the boundaries of creative excellence and ensure the delivery of required results. Must also have the ability to work with members of the creative department as well as team members from other core departments in order to achieve client satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute creative concepts that are on strategy across all direct response (CRM) media (Direct Mail, Print, Email, Display, Web, Interactive, TV, Radio) with minimal supervision.

Generate breakthrough ideas and constantly strive for new, better, more innovative solutions.

Handle high-level projects, as well as several assignments at a time.

Demonstrate high-level knowledge of color, typography, and graphic design.

Experience in Brand Guide execution across platforms and channels.

Ability to think strategically.

Adapt brands to both digital and direct response environments.

Embrace AI and AI generative platforms and systems.

Understand clients’ marketing needs and consumer attitudes.

Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery.

Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Apply direct marketing techniques to the job.

Develop great work within guidelines and budget of the assignment.

Work collaboratively with creative partners, members of creative and core departments.

Present work coherently and persuasively; express ideas in a form that clients can buy.

Expertise working with a variety of formats and materials to bring the concept to life.

Collaborate with Production, Art Buying, and Studio to achieve the best solutions for assignments.

Stay current with changes in technology and demonstrate technical competence.

SUCCESS CRITERIA:

Clear & articulate team communication & relationship building.

Demonstrates an informed and thoughtful POV.

Proactively tracks trends in business and marketplace relevant to Client business.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

5+ years’ experience.

Must have digital experience, with CRM and automotive or financial experience.

Must have mobile digital experience.

Strong portfolio primarily of produced work.

Can express and present ideas using sketches, storyboards, or mood boards.

Experience/knowledge in (CRM) media (Direct Mail, Print, Email, Display, Web, Interactive, TV, Radio).

Experience working within the constraints of technology platforms and systems.

Knowledge and experience creating compelling presentations in Keynote and PowerPoint.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of a variety of Macintosh related programs including Microsoft Suite.

Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe XD.

Deep experience in Figma.

This range is specific to Dallas and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications, etc. This is an exempt position.
