Under direct supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager position oversees event and brand marketing activities for ASM Global operated facilities, including advertising placement, grassroots campaigns, and interactive marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates and implements promotional campaigns for event and company exposure.Coordinates and places advertising campaigns for a variety of clients including concerts, family events, comedy shows, and others as required.Develops strategies to boost ticket sales and generate additional event promotion and creates recaps for each show’s efforts.Establishes and maintains relationships with community influencers and partners.Plans and conducts market research to identify promotional opportunities. Manages and directs grassroots and promotional efforts.Oversees street team program, including recruiting and onboarding members, managing workflow, assigning tasks, post-campaign reporting, etc.Prepares advertising budgets for prospective shows and invoicing for event settlements.Learns local and regional advertising platforms to identify best vendors to work with for various events.Negotiates best rates and trade agreements with local media outlets.Supports Box Office and Sales teams with email communications, group sales collateral, and special offer campaigns as needed.Assists Director of Marketing with regional and national public relations campaigns along with coordinating media and press during events.Assists with the management, development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.Drives data and analytic results for higher exposure and conversion.Works with Marketing team on content calendar to promote events, create content, and top experiences for guests and clients.Supports Director of Marketing through leading departmental and group meetings and agendas.Brainstorm and activate back-of-house promotions and experiences.Supports other departments with communication and sales collateral.Maintains, at all times, high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to this job:Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.Ability to effectively work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow-through skills.Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with little supervision.Videography and photography experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer service and effective communications with guests and employees.Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong knowledge and experience with various social networking platforms and data analytics.Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has limited supervisory responsibilities for employees or interns in the Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM Global’s policies and applicable laws.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Business Communication, or related field preferred. Minimum two (2) years advertising experience preferred.Combination of education and experience may be acceptable.Basic understanding of demographics, media rating metrics, and media buying ability preferred.Marketing or advertising related experience.Facility/industry experience preferred.Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
