What you'll be doing...

As Manager of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for translating various commercial performance data into action-oriented insights and partner with key stakeholders on the best way to apply those learnings for improvement in the Straight Talk, Tracfone & WFM businesses.

In this position, you will be accountable for gaining an in-depth understanding of business results, developing meaningful insights that will drive improvements on key objectives such as churn reduction, trade-up and capturing a higher "win share" of the competitive switcher pool. You will take the lead to analyze data from multiple sources and develop a robust understanding of both the "what" and "why" of the business' results. This includes becoming an expert in analytics and insights of Verizon Value KPIs, and how these metrics behave. You will work closely with the Commercial, Customer Marketing, Sales and Finance teams, serving as a thought leader in how to quickly and regularly interpret data for actionable insights. Additionally, you will serve as the business point person for defining business intelligence requirements for Operations and Global Technology Services. This role requires excellent analytical skills, experience with data strategy, influencing without authority, high-caliber communication skills and strong business acumen.

Specific responsibilities include:In-depth analysis of business performance, specific to new customer acquisition, customer retention, pricing and base ARPU, product analytics and overall profitability. Includes utilizing multiple databases and data sources to gather necessary insights.Intense collaboration with brand leads across Commercial, Customer Marketing, Finance and Sales to compile various, and sometimes conflicting data, into high-confidence hypotheses that can be used for corrective action plans. Also involves working with above stakeholders on developing assumptions and modeling related to new product and promotional business cases.Partnering with other functions such as Value Business Strategy, FP&A and Market Insights to provide a holistic interpretation of disparate data.Partnering with the Managing Director to develop a standardized process and reporting framework for each brand's performance. Leading all ad hoc requests to identify root cause of business results and developing recommendations on short-term solutions, coordinating across functions to bring in additional perspectives. Deep dives into areas of particular importance. Synthesizing findings and learnings into executive communications.Collaborating closely with Commercial leads to develop expert understanding of business drivers and guide them in interpreting insights appropriately.Serving as Commercial/Brand Subject Matter Expert and point person for all data inquiries and requests.Managing individual contributors, actively developing their professional growth.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Experience in either pricing, product management, or FP&A within Telecom.Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:MBA.Experience working with suppliers/vendors to national retailers (e.g. Walmart).10 or more years of relevant experience.Passion for data analysis and transforming analysis into insights and actions.Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience regularly presenting to executive audiences.
