Web Designer

DescriptionWeb Designer Intermediate will create, implement and maintain the user interface of the web presence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Gather, publish and update information and coordinate projects to design and maintain department and other websites.Monitor and maintain consistency and currency of information and links.Collaborate with web services team members on projects and team needs.Contribute ideas and input that help solve usability challenges, support business goals and deliver excellent user experience.Maintain cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.This is a short-term assignment through November 2021.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related IT field.3+ years of related experience required.Experience creating original designs developing cross-browser/cross-platform compatible websites.Expertise in writing valid HTML and CSS code by hand.Experience with Adobe ColdFusion.Experience in writing JavaScript.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.Experience with IIS and SQL.Solid understanding of web standards, usability, and accessibility.Excellent eye for color, composition, interface design, and typography.Experience with web-connected databases and e-commerce.Experience with content management systems.Understanding of web analytics with the ability to use these metrics to achieve business goals.Driving And Travel RequirementsMay be required to drive a company car. A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record. May be required to travel domestically up to 0%.
