Position Summary:The Senior Graphic Package Design Specialist position oversees the graphic and display design process, leads, and coordinates projects in conjunction with Senior Sales & Operations Manager to ensure projects are completed on time. This position takes a lead role as a liaison between internal and external customers regarding the scope of projects. This position is critical in providing innovative, cost-effective, and structurally sound displays and merchandising solutions for internal and external customers. The preferred candidate will have 5 plus years of retail point of purchase display design experience.

Position Functions:Development of product packaging and display concepts, including collaboration with management, production, designers, sales representatives, and customers to ensure high quality of design solutions.Assists in the growth of business through both new and existing accounts, including making joint sales calls with sales personnel and developing relationships with accounts while working with the sales team to effectively use design/graphics as a sales tool.Works with Sales to market design products and their capabilities.Participates in brainstorming sessions with internal/external customers and vendors on new packaging and display development.Creates innovative design solutions and produces samples to meet customer requirements.Conducts research relating to technology, techniques, innovations, new products, and materials that are beneficial to the Company and its customers that enhance graphics and design programs.Champions redesigns to foster environmental sustainability, cost savings initiatives, and sales strategy.Works with Graphic Production Manager, Senior Sales and Operations Manager & customers in conceptualization of design solutions with quick sketches and CAD (Atrios) visualization.Engineers and produces prototypes using various materials (Corrugated, SBS, Foam Core, Tapes, etc.) and building techniques.Turns sketched drafts into 2D/3D display models/prototypes with the use of cutting tables (Zund/Kongsberg) and various knife tools.Works with vendor supply chain to incorporate lights, motion, and sound into displays when needed; full understanding of mounting assembly to ensure structurally sound display.Follows best practices for structure creation, as well as software use and layout design following company standards and customer brand guidelines.Liaison between internal & external customers regarding scope of special projects related to application, technical specs, Bill of Materials, quantity, & production status.Creates set-up and assembly instructions and/or display animation for end user.Effectively manages multiple projects and provides ongoing status reports to key stakeholders.Works within MIS system processing files within orders.Works with HQ graphic design team to secure artwork and approvals.Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Font Management, RIP Software (Caldera), ArtiosCAD, Zund/Kongsberg.Excellent project and time management skills – 2 years project management experience preferred.Works assigned schedule and works on special projects as assigned.Qualifications - ExternalSkills and Abilities:Education:

Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Graphic Design or Related Field.Experience:

5 plus years of experience in Graphic Structural Design with Corrugated Packaging and Displays.Computer Skills:

Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Font Management, RIP Software, Zund or Kongsberg Digital Cutting, ArtiosCAD, Acrobat, Microsoft Office.
