Designer

Scope of PositionThe Structural Designer will support business development and client growth in the East Region.Essential FunctionsDevelop innovative corrugated designs.Generate detailed display specifications to optimize manufacturing capabilities and ensure accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams during research, ideation, evaluation, and validation stages.Provide resources for delivering winning concepts and engineered designs.Create mock-ups/samples for customer approval, including CAD layouts and print positioning.Approve cutting dies and generate mylars for production.Maintain supplies needed for mock-ups, mylars, and samples.Design POP displays, graphic packaging, and industrial packaging.Develop distribution and in-store setup instruction sheets for client education.Identify and prevent problems, document quality issues, and verify solution implementation.Interpret packaging design specifications and operating instructions.Maintain accurate records of specifications and revisions.Participate in design-related meetings and presentations with Sales and creative teams.Ensure designs meet manufacturing specifications and budgets.Education & ExperienceMastery of Artios CAD software, including parametric designs.Experience in display and/or retail-ready packaging design/development.Proficient in Adobe CS-6.Capable of operating sample table cutting devices (e.g., Kongsberg/Data Tech tables).Proficient with CAPE design and palletization software.Exceptional skills in MS Office (Word & PowerPoint).Experience in three-dimensional design modeling.SkillsAbility to work under pressure with multiple interruptions while meeting tight deadlines.Strong sense of urgency, discipline, accountability, judgment, initiative, and critical thinking skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Passion for design and commitment to excellence.Ability to present concepts, ideas, and samples internally and to clients.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and creative abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
