Supports Development Teams with marketing needs including content creation and design consult

Performs copywriting and editing functions for various publication opportunities.Develops communication plans for various needs including product and program promotions.May author/distribute promotional correspondence (newsletters, pamphlets, etc.) and/or marketing collateral to existing and potential agents and/or customers.May plan and host both internal and external events to achieve area/regional marketing initiatives.Maintains record keeping systems for the department. Demonstrates expert knowledge on information in and data retrieval from these record keeping systems.Maintains content library including: presentation/deck slides, social media posts, editorials, etc.

Produces graphics-design direction/consultation for communication materials through a variety of media outlets (print, web, etc.).

Uses creativity and originality to originate design, art and copy layouts.Participates in developing creative ideas and concepts appropriate to the message.Selects graphic images and integrates with text.Determines style, size and arrangement of type and illustrations.Provides creative direction for various multimedia programs.

Demonstrates expert knowledge of current trends and best practices in layout principles, aesthetic design concepts, desktop publishing, graphic design, branding, and/or marketing collateral.Identifies vendors for services and marketing goods not provided by the organization. Receives quotes/bids and/or ensures contracted services are received. Oversees vendors’ production schedules and budgets.May coordinate appropriate review and approval from management, legal, and/or stakeholders. Demonstrates expert knowledge of regulations/legal requirements.Participates in implementing corporate branding strategies and the use of company trademarks.Provides supporting materials for development teams when engaging current and prospective new business partners. Initiates and follows up on new business opportunities.Tracks statistics on prospect lists, hit ratios, business retention, and new business production.Develops and employs innovative, creative, and resourceful methods for marketing new business.Works collaboratively with management to develop, monitor, and adapt a business/marketing plan for area of responsibility and to support division goals.Participates in the development of agency or client business goals.Maintains familiarity with competitors and market conditions. May be required to gather, analyze, and maintain competitive information.Collaborates with Underwriting, Product Development, Product Management, Corporate Legal, and Corporate Communications to develop marketing initiatives, new products, and the supporting marketing materials.Identifies issues/potential issues and triages to appropriate staff to resolve.May provide guidance and assistance to lower-level associates.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.Design experience beneficial to role; Presentation/deck creation experience is required.Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business, Marketing, Graphic design or a related discipline.Experience: Generally, 5+ years of related experience.Business Unit:
