The Digital Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the Formica Brand Marketing Team reporting to the North American Director of Marketing Technology with a dotted line to the Hartson-Kennedy business General Manager. S/he will work on many websites, social media and e-mail marketing projects that contribute to successful product launches, promotional programs, trade shows and other brand building activities. S/he will work closely with the Creative Services Team, the Segment Marketing Team, HK Sales Organization and IT.

The ideal candidate will have a strong full-stack background as a marketer with specific experience managing websites, social media platforms, and working with vendors.

Job Description:

This position reports to the Director of Marketing Technology. Key responsibilities include:

Develop and execute digital initiatives that drive engagement throughout the consumer journey and increase brand awareness and advocacy for the Hartson-Kennedy countertop business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creation of content and campaigns for Hartson-Kennedy's WordPress website, digital customer service inquiries, eMarketing, SEO, SEM, digital vendor management, Google Analytics and social media.Manage Hartson-Kennedy's digital agency partners ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget. Develop annual website backlog to address site visitor pain points with agency and partner with agency on regular sprints to improve site - within annual budgets.Measure and report monthly on digital initiative performance and make recommendations for improvements to optimize impact.Monitor and report on competitive digital activity and recommend appropriate responses as needed.Manage overall digital budget for Hartson-Kennedy, ensuring adherence to financial processes and budgets.Lead Formica and FENIX brand website execution, ongoing customer-based feedback support, testing for enhanced site functionality, and launch support for all three North American Formica domains (formica.com, formicadocs.info and fenixforinteriors-na.com). Troubleshoot and report major website breaks and issues for Formica and FENIX brand websites.Manage social media platforms for Formica North America including Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, including posting content, USG, community management, analytics reporting, and live posting as required. Partner with the Creative Director on social media campaigns.Miscellaneous projects as assigned.Desired Skills & Experience:

BA/BS degree in Design, Marketing, Communications or relevant field.Minimum 4 years of experience in digital marketing.Experience working in a digital CMS required, experience with WordPress required. Additional Sitecore experience preferred.Experience managing social media platforms, SEO/SEM and Google Analytics reporting required.Basic knowledge of HTML required.Experience working with agencies and external vendors/suppliers required.Project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a member of marketing team and multiple cross-functional project teams required.Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames, deliver projects within budget and meet tight deadlines.Monthly travel, primarily to Indianapolis and Marion, IN. Occasional travel to other domestic locations and Canada and Mexico.
