We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting two-way radio systems. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring reliable communication for our clients in the public safety and professional services sectors.Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain radio systems, including hardware, software, and associated components.Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting and repairs on radio equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Install, program, and configure Motorola Astro radio systems.Installation of Radio Equipment in Vehicles of all types at Customer locations and in the shop.Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure system reliability.Collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs with good customer service skills.Provide technical support and training to end-users.Keep detailed accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and system configurations.Stay updated with the latest developments in Motorola radio technology and industry standards.Qualifications

Under general supervision of the service manager to perform system design, troubleshooting, programming, and installations. Optimizes, maintains, and repairs 2-way and wireless communications systems including complex radio systems and 911 communications centers for customers.Qualifications:

Proven experience with two-way radio systems.Knowledge of radio frequency principles and technologies.Knowledge of telecommunication equipment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Any relevant certifications (e.g., Motorola Solutions certifications) are a plus bonus for Astro Certification.Good understanding of Networking.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.Willingness to know that no two days are going to be the same.Ability to pass a DOT Drug test and physical.Ability to lift heavy equipment and work with hand tools.Strong commitment to safety and proactive approach to challenges.Valid driver's license.Licenses, Certifications:

An industry license (FCC GROL, or CET). A valid driver's license and insurability in the state of Washington.
