The Video Production Specialist supports agency efforts to produce high-quality video products for nonprofit, philanthropic, and government clients. You will help “connect the dots” internally and externally by communicating with team members and clients to support the production of excellent end products in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment.You will work closely with project managers across several teams to support excellent creative concept development, pre-production, principal production, and post-production work.Essential Job Duties
Learning (15%)
Participate in professional development and learning activities to continuously improve leadership, management, project management, and writing skillsRead and reflect on agency readings; connect readings to short- and long-term goals for team and agencyParticipate in agency team meetings, professional development check-ins, and other internal meetings, as neededMaintain a high level of organization for video files and materialsVideo Production and Project Management Support (85%)
Work with the video project manager to design, develop, produce, record, and edit video projects from conceptualization to completionCollaborate with the project management team and videographers to create production budgets and schedulesAssist with pitching and new business development for video production projectsAssist with storyboard development, drafting interview questions, location scouting, and talent identificationConduct pre-production and principal production interviews with subjectsPrepare background film/b-roll and identify stock footage for video projectsDesign, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productionsLead quality control for video and motion graphic design projectsAssist with creative concept development for motion graphic designs, including intros, outros, lower thirds, and infographicsLead agency post-production, including editing videos in Adobe Premiere, conceptualizing motion graphic designs, and supporting the finalization of motion graphic designs in Adobe After EffectsAdd closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video, as needed and requestedAssist with planning and production of live-streamed virtual eventsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, film, graphic design, English, marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsTechnical knowledge and understanding of video productionExperience using Adobe Premiere and After EffectsProject management and organization skillsAbility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentAbility to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlinesIntrinsically motivated self-starter, team player, critical thinker, and effective communicatorA healthy dose of curiosityCompensation commensurate with experience.About Fahrenheit Creative Group
