The DepartmentThe Department of Art & Art History offers courses of study leading to a B.A. degree in Art History and B.A. and B.F.A. degrees in Studio Art.

Duties of the PositionApplicants for the Art Studio courses will be expected to teach one or more of the following Studio Art courses:PaintingDrawingPrintmakingPhotographySculptureCeramics2D Fundamentals3D Fundamentals

Professional QualificationsTo be recommended for appointment, the candidate must have the following requirements for Art Studio courses:MFA or an equivalent degree within the area they are applying.Two years of teaching experience at the college level (not including T.A. experience).Strong record of exhibition on the regional and national levels.Professional and technical experience in studio art.

Rank and SalaryFull-time is a 15-unit workload per semester. Salary is dependent upon the number of units assigned, educational preparation, and availability of funds.Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $4,530 - $6,056 per full-time month.Temporary Faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis.
