Senior User Experience Designer at Trimble in Westminster, COAbout the position:

You will be leading and executing the user experience research, assisting with product strategy, and working hands-on in many aspects of the product design for new features or integrations with other Trimble products across the web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will be interfacing with a number of internal and external stakeholders to create seamless workflows for our project management platform and 3D collaboration tools. This is an opportunity to define the core of our customer experience strategy and apply your leadership skills.What you will be asked to do:Leverage existing designs and research for continued feature development.Build new research plans and workflows.Execute the research and build a product strategy based on your findings.Effectively communicate design decisions to stakeholders and development teams.Work with PM and other stakeholders to create and validate concepts.Help develop and champion a customer-centered approach to our key customers.Develop concepts for new solutions.Validate concepts through customer and stakeholder interviews.Build wireframes and prototypes.Conduct usability sessions.Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes.Support the front-end development efforts of the development teams through documentation and technical know-how.Apply agile methodologies and dual track development process.What we are looking for:At least 5 years of experience in the User Experience Design field.Skilled with conducting research, and leveraging data to inform design strategy & direction.A passion and deep experience in designing for professional users, understanding workflow analysis and customer journey analysis.An interest in designing for engineering professionals and highly technical applications.Solid background in human-centered design, and expertise with the user experience design process tools and best practices.An innovative & strategic thinker skilled in interaction design, prototyping, and comfortable working with new technologies.Comfortable working with global cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.A willingness and interest in working on a team and obtaining design feedback from other UX Designers.An undergraduate or master's degree in user experience design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or the like.Solid experience with Sketch; HTML/CSS skills a definite plus.Solid experience with agile development practices, and with integrating UX process into agile processes.From a soft skill and personality standpoint, this person is:Must be collaborative in spirit, open to iteration and feedback (no egos).Strong advocate and voice for the user.Empathetic to users and cares about their holistic experience.A strong, persuasive communicator.A servant leader, willing to take responsibility and initiative.Experience and willingness to mentor more junior UX designers and team members.What we offer:A career at an innovative market leader in software solutions, transforming the way the world works.The opportunity to work for a listed organization with a big interest in their employees.A competitive salary.Possibility to make use of the well-being program for Trimble Colleagues, as work/life balance is important at Trimble.The possibility to work according to a hybrid working method, to maintain a healthy work/life balance.We encourage Trimble employees to make use of our internal learning platform to develop your skills, knowledge, and personal competencies.Possibility to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan.28 vacation days and an additional Day of Service to recharge, reflect, and relax.Pension plan fully paid by employer.Salary Range:

$100K -- $150KMinimum Qualification:

Design & UXEstimated Salary:

$20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
