The teams within USDS that deliver on this commitment daily span Trust & Safety, Security & Privacy, Engineering, User & Product Ops, Corporate Functions and more.In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.Responsibilities
Project Planning and ExecutionSupport project business case developmentDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop project plans, schedules, and budgetsManage professional employees or supervise others to deliver complex technical initiatives, with accountability for performance and resultsMonitor project progress, identify and mitigate security and compliance risks; escalate critical issues to senior management as needed and apply depth of expertise to guide others and interprets internal / external issues to recommend quality solutionsResponsible for continuous process improvement, the identification of innovative solutions through research and analysis, insight and experience of best practicesTechnical DocumentationCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including project plans, requirements documents, and technical specificationsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentationTranslate technical concepts and complex information into clear, concise, and understandable documentation for various audiencesStakeholder EngagementCommunicate project status, updates, and issues to internal and external stakeholdersFacilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure clear and effective communicationProvide technical insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support decision-makingQuality AssuranceImplement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of deliverablesReview and edit technical documents for clarity, consistency, and compliance with company standardsQualifications
Expert skills in program and project management disciplines and have a knowledge of requirements, tools, and methods to design, implement, and deploy security processes and systemsStrong technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills by either leading or contributing to global multi-functional teamsProficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Ability to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situationsHighly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importanceDemonstrates excellent organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, goal setting, leadership, motivation, negotiation, and interpersonal relationsWorks well under pressure and within time/budget constraints to solve problems or meet objectivesExcellent fundamental knowledge of industry security standard frameworksPossess a high degree of integrity and the ability to lead and inspire changeExperience building and growing a team to meet strategic and tactical objectives; mentoring and coaching staffBachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or 5+ years of industry equivalent work experience in international security architecture and engineering in a converged security programPreferred Qualifications:

Compensation Description (annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $130000 - $183000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life. We offer the following benefits to eligible employees:We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match, as well as Dental, Vision, Short/Long term Disability, Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance plans.
